'Kusina ng Las Piñas' serves 600 children with nutritious food

The Las Piñas City government brought the “Kusina ng Las Piñas” feeding program to Barangay Pamplona Tres serving 600 children with hot nutritious veggie macaroni soup.

The program is part of the city government's effort in addressing malnutrition and ensuring food security.

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the “Kusina ng Las Piñas” regularly conducts visit to different barangays in the city to provide nutritional support and promote overall well being among young residents.

Aguilar said the nutritious “creamy veggie macaroni soup” was prepared by the nutritionist-dietitians and barangay nutrition scholars.

Vice Mayor April Aguilar was present in every activity of “Kusina ng Las Piñas” together with Las Piñas City Nutrition Office OIC Dr. Julio P. Javier II.
