Fisherman arrested for homicide in Taguig

Police arrested a fisherman, tagged as the No. 7 most wanted person in the Southern Police District (SPD) for a homicide case, in Taguig on March 6.

Fisherman under the alias Christian, 26, was nabbed in a police operation in Ibayo, Napindan in Taguig.

Christian, a resident of the barangay, was arrested by operatives from the Taguig police Warrant and Subpoena Section at about 3:15 p.m.

He was apprehended based on a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Mariam Guzon Bien of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 153 for a homicide case. His bail was set at P120,000.

Christian was brought to the Taguig police station after his arrest.

Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena, SPD chief, said, This arrest is another step forward in our commitment to bringing fugitives to justice. The SPD remains dedicated to tracking down wanted individuals and maintaining peace and order in our communities.”
