Woman robbed, raped in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A 22-year-old woman was robbed and raped in an apartment in Barangay 9 here on Wednesday morning, March 5.

Investigation said an unidentified man wearing black jacket, maong pants, and face mask and armed with a knife barged into the room of the victim on the third floor.

The suspect robbed the victim and her two companions aged 18 and 23 of three smartphones, jewelry, and laptop with a total value of P118,000.

The suspect tied the victims with a shoe lace. Two of them resisted that angered the suspect who touched their breasts and raped their companion.

The suspect escaped with his loot and the victims reported the incident to the police.

Police are conducting manhunt and follow-up operations.
