Taguig police named top performer in SPD's anti-drug campaign

The Southern Police District named the Taguig police as the top performer in anti-drug campaign among all units in the SPD.

The SPD gave commendations to different police units for various achievements for the period Sept. 1, 2024 to Feb. 28 this year during the SPD Command Conference headed by Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena.

The Taguig police received a certificate of commendation from the SPD for executing 570 operations that led to the arrest of 762 individuals.

They also confiscated 5,951.93 grams of shabu, 291.10 grams of marijuana, 41.4 grams of kush, and 3.83 grams of cocaine with a total value of P40.9 million.

“This accomplishment highlights the station's dedication to curbing illegal drug activities and reinforce the SPD's core principle of ‘Service with Pride and Dignity,’” the SPD said.
