Over P1-M shabu seized, 2 drug suspects nabbed in Rizal buy-bust

Police confiscated a total of P1,020,000 worth of shabu from a seamstress and a man in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Burgos, Rodriguez, Rizal on Wednesday, March 5.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspects as "Angie," 30, and "Patrick," 44, both tagged as high-value individuals (HVIs).

They were arrested by the Municipal Drug Enforcement Team (MDET) of Rodriguez PNP in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) IV-A.

Seized during the operation were six plastic sachets containing around 150 grams of shabu.

The suspects are currently detained at the Rodriguez Police custodial facility. They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). (Vincent Brian Gutierrez)
