Muntinlupa police recognized for highest decrease in crimes in SPD
The Southern Police District honored the Muntinlupa City Police Station for achieving the highest decrease in crimes among all units in the SPD from September last year to February this year.
The SPD gave commendations to different police units for various achievements for the period Sept. 1, 2024 to Feb. 28 this year during the SPD Command Conference headed by Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena.

One certificate of commendation was given to the Muntinlupa police for getting the highest percentage decrease in crimes within the SPD at 24.4 percent compared to the same period from 2023 to 2024.
Another commendation was for being the top performing police station in the SPD for implementing search warrants during the period.
The Muntinlupa police conducted 10 search warrant operations during the period, resulting in eight arrests, and confiscation of eight firearms and 100 grams of shabu amounting to P680,000.
“These awards are a testament to strong leadership, teamwork and dedication, and commitment to public safety,” the Muntinlupa police said.
