MPD launches manhunt for 4 siblings behind fatal stabbing of man in Tondo
The Manila Police District (MPD) has launched a manhunt for the arrest of four brothers who fatally stabbed a 25-year-old man inside the Aroma compound in Tondo, Manila.
Authorities said the stabbing incident occurred on Monday afternoon, March 3.
The victim, along with his live-in partner, went to the house of one of the suspects in search of a woman whose identity remains unclear.
An argument soon erupted between the victim and the primary suspect, escalating into a heated confrontation.
Three other siblings of the primary suspect joined in the argument and restrained the victim.
The primary suspect then drew out a knife and stabbed the victim in the back.
The victim managed to flee the scene despite his injuries, but he was later declared dead while being rushed to the hospital by his live-in partner.
The four siblings quickly escaped.
Authorities are conducting follow-up operations to locate and arrest them.
The exact motive remains under investigation but the police suspect that illegal drug trade could be the reason.
Local authorities are determined to track down the suspects who will face murder charges.
