Las Piñas police named No. 1 in apprehending wanted persons

The Las Piñas City Police received two commendations from the Southern Police District (SPD) for topping the apprehension of Top 10 most wanted persons in the district and for its outstanding performance and significant apprehension in the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Enforcement Operation (SACLEO).
SPD Director, Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena recognized the Las Piñas City Police under the leadership of Col. Sandro Tafalla for being the top performing police station in the service of warrants of arrest against Top 10 wanted persons from September 1, 2024 to Feb. 28 this year.
The hard work of Tafalla and his men resulted in the apprehension of 60 individuals.
Another commendation received by the Las Piñas City Police was for its outstanding performance and significant apprehension in the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) covering the period from Feb. 15 to 21 that resulted in the arrest of 17 individuals composing of the top five most wanted persons, six most wanted, and six wanted persons.
Abrugena recognized Tafalla’s leadership for apprehending several wanted criminals and targeted high-value suspects that contributed to a safer environment in Las Piñas City.
