K-pop artist Baekho, who performed at Waterbomb Manila last month, will be leaving his agency after the expiration of his exclusive contract.
Pledis Entertainment, Baekho’s agency, announced on March 6 the termination of his contract after its expiration of March 14. .
“The exclusive contract with Baekho will officially end on March 14. After thorough and honest discussions about the future direction of his career, both Baekho and Pledis Entertainment have mutually agreed to end the contract,” Pledis Entertainment said.

Baekho debuted in K-pop boy band NU’EST under Pledis Entertainment in 2012. After the group disbanded in March 2022, Baekho signed a contract with Pledis.
“Since his debut as a member of NU’EST in 2012, Baekho has built a distinguished career as a singer-songwriter while expanding his presence into musicals, variety shows, and various other fields. With his remarkable passion and talent, Baekho has made a lasting impact across multiple entertainment domains,” the agency said.
He will be releasing a single on March 14 to mark the end of his activities with the agency.
“To express his gratitude to the fans who have supported him throughout the years, Baekho will release a digital single on March 14, marking the conclusion of his official activities as an artist under Pledis Entertainment,” the agency said.
