Ex-PDL lands back in jail after robbing student in Antipolo
A man who was recently released from jail was arrested again for robbing a student in Antipolo City, Rizal, on Tuesday, March 4.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspect as “Ramram,” 27, a resident of Barangay San Isidro.
Barangay San Isidro personnel immediately arrested him after the victim reported the incident which happened while he was walking to school at around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to the victim, the armed suspect suddenly approached him and declared a holdup before forcibly taking his belongings.
Before fleeing, the suspect also fired his gun, police said.
Barangay San Isidro Police Safety and Order (BPSO) personnel, brought the suspect and the recovered pieces of evidence, including the victim’s stolen Samsung A14 smartphone worth P14,000 and a .38 snub-nose revolver loaded with two live rounds, to Police Community Precinct (PCP) 2, Antipolo PNP.
Further investigation showed that the suspect was arrested on July 22, 2024 for violating Republic Act 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition) and was only recently released.
He is now detained at the Antipolo City Custodial Facility and is facing charges of robbery (holdup) and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition under RA 10591, in relation to the Omnibus Election Code.
