There’s something about a beautifully styled space that makes life feel more intentional. Whether it’s a dinner set arranged with care or a statement piece that sparks conversation, design has a way of shaping how we experience home. That’s the heart of Opulence Design Concept’s latest pop-up store at SM Aura, where luxury homeware meets everyday living.

Running from February 8 to March 31, 2025, at the Lower Ground Floor of the SM Store, this temporary boutique brings a carefully curated selection of international design brands closer to home enthusiasts. The launch was marked by “Spaces of Love,” a Valentine’s-themed event that explored how design can express different forms of love—self-care, family, and shared experiences. Tastemakers Cat Arambulo-Antonio and Pinky Tobiano showcased bespoke vignettes, each styled to reflect the beauty of intentional living.

The pop-up highlights pieces from renowned brands: Sambonet’s refined Italian tableware, Jonathan Adler’s playful yet sophisticated designs, Polspotten’s eclectic Dutch artistry, and Thomas’s sleek porcelain tableware. Each collection speaks to a different design philosophy, but all share the same goal—transforming everyday moments into something extraordinary.

“Opulence Design Concept has always been dedicated to transforming homes into meaningful spaces,” shared Gerry and Jinky Sy, owners of Opulence Design Concept. “With our new pop-up, we are making our curated collections even more accessible to those who appreciate great design, inspiring people to style their homes with intention—whether it’s creating a space for self-care, quality family time, or beautiful shared moments.”

The idea for the pop-up came naturally when SM Aura approached Opulence with the opportunity to collaborate. It was a perfect match—bringing elegant, well-crafted homeware into a space where discerning shoppers seek quality and style. The selections available at the pop-up are thoughtfully priced, making high-end design more attainable.

As for the future? While nothing is set in stone, there’s a possibility that Opulence Design Concept will appear in more SM locations, with SM Makati on the horizon. Until then, lovers of refined interiors can explore the pop-up at SM Aura or visit Opulence’s permanent showrooms at The Podium, 267 Connecticut in Mandaluyong, and Newport Mall.
Because at the end of the day, home is more than just a place—it’s an experience, a feeling, and, most of all, a reflection of love.
