Security guard shot dead in Quezon

DOLORES, Quezon – A 50-year-old security guard was shot dead in Sitio Batangan, Barangay Pinagdanlayan, this town, on Tuesday evening, March 4.

Police identified the victim as Reynante Sadiangcolor.

Investigation said Sadiangcolor was inside his house when an unidentified man appeared and shot him. He died on the spot.

The suspect fled and a manhunt is underway against him.

Meanwhile, a 55-year-old businesswoman was found dead in Barangay 8, Lucban, Quezon on Tuesday.

Police identified the victim as Luzviminda Racelis, 55.

Investigation said an employee of the victim noticed blood dripping from the ceiling of their office. The employee also noticed unpleasant odor from the third floor of their office where the victim lives.

The employee reported these to the police who discovered the victim's decomposing body in her room.

Investigation said the victim was last seen on March 1 after releasing the salary of her employees.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation of both cases.
