Man wanted for sexual abuse arrested in Las Piñas

A jobless man ranked as the No. 9 wanted person under the district level was arrested by members of the Las Piñas City Police's Warrant and Subpoena Section for two counts of sexual abuse during the conduct of operation against wanted persons on March 3.

Las Piñas City Police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspect as alias “Ricky,” 34. He was arrested along Pio Pedrosa St., Barangay Talon Dos, Las Piñas City.

Tafalla said Ricky was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nerina C. N. Anastacio Mendinueto of the Las Piñas Regional Trial Court, Branch 202, on February 18, 2025 with a recommended bail of P360,000 for two counts of sexual abuse.

He said the suspect was detained at the Las Piñas City Police custodial facility after his arrest.
