Repeat offender arrested anew, yields P340K shabu in Pasig buy-bust

A 45-year-old man who had been arrested multiple times for various crimes was arrested again, with P340,000 worth of shabu seized in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, on Tuesday, March 4.

The Eastern Police District (EPD) identified the suspect as “Bong,” listed as the No. 5 regional high-value individual (HVI) for violating Republic Act 9165 also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Further investigation revealed that the suspect had been arrested several times for crimes involving illegal drugs and gambling in different barangays where he resided.

Authorities added that in February 2018, he was also arrested for violating RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act.

The suspect is now detained at the Pasig CPS.
