Andrea Brillantes bolsters the excitement for the new chapter of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” as she takes on her most daring role yet in the hit action series. 

In an interview with “TV Patrol” during her first taping day, Andrea admitted feeling nervous but excited about her decision to take on a new path as an actress that will showcase her mature side. 

“Mas daring siya compared sa iba kong mga role. Mas level-up siya and mature. Personal decision ko na gawin ‘to. This is my first time doing something na physically intimate. This is a new path for me and alam ko naman na aalagaan ako dito sa ‘Batang Quiapo,’” she said.

The sneak peek of Andrea’s daring role, which showed her wearing red lingerie and sharing a passionate kiss in a bathtub with Jake Cuenca’s character, sent social media abuzz after netizens expressed their excitement for her “new era.”

Viewers were also thrilled to get the first glimpse of the rest of the new characters in a special teaser that earned three million views in less than 24 hours. One of the most-talked about scenes in the teaser shows the characters of Jake, Angel Aquino, Albert Martinez, Dante Rivero, Chanda Romero, and Celia Rodriguez dressed to the nines as they figure in a heated argument.
