BUTUAN CITY – Police arrested 15 wanted persons in a recent two-day manhunt operation here.
Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) Director Police Col. Rommel D. Villamor said among those arrested was Ann, 36, and Gan, 40.

Ann was arrested on a warrant for qualified theft. Gan was nabbed for attempted murder.
Villamor the arrest of the suspects was a united effort. “The successful arrest of these 15 wanted individuals is a testament to the BCPO police's heartfelt efforts in seeking justice for the victims and in restoring security in our city.”
“Our fight against crime will continue, and we urge the public to continue cooperating by reporting information that could help in apprehending suspects who are hiding and evading the law, for through our unity, we will have a more peaceful and secure community,” he said.
Police Regional Office 13-Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said the PRO-13 leadership commended for their thorough pursuit of these fugitives.
“PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Christopher N. Abrahano commended BCPO of their effort in maintaining peace and order, with the apprehension of these fugitives.”
