Warm, humid weather to prevail over most of the Philippines
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday, March 4 said most areas in the country will experience warm and humid weather with some rain showers caused by the winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, also known as “easterlies.”
PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja said cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms may prevail over Bicol Region, Caraga, Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, and Davao Oriental.
Areas at risk of flash floods or landslides are advised to take precautions, especially during moderate to heavy rainfall.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Estareja said no low-pressure areas or tropical cyclones near or inside the Philippine area of responsibility are expected until the end of the week.
