Another fire occurred in Muntinlupa in two days as the country marked Fire Prevention Month in March. 

On March 4, a fire occurred in Lucena Compound in Purok 4 Barangay Tunasan in Muntinlupa. 

Two fires happened in Muntinlupa on March 3. A fire hit a residential area in Sitio Masagana in Barangay Alabang beside the S&R warehouse club parking area at about 5:25 a.m. 

Mayor Ruffy Biazon visited the area and met with families. He reported that 148 families were affected by the fire based on the tally by the city government. The Muntinlupa City Fire Station initially estimated that 50 families were affected by the blaze. 

The city government issued Disaster Assistance Family Access Cards to the affected families. The city’s Social Services Department and Barangay Alabang provided hot meals and other items to the families. The families are currently staying at Don Bosco Compound.

At 4:28 p.m., another fire happened in Sitio Pagkakaisa in Barangay Sucat. The fire destroyed a house, which affected a family of three members. 

Five fire trucks and two ambulances responded to the incident. 

As the fire incidents happened, some netizens mentioned that these were part of psychic Rudy Baldwin’s prediction. 

On Feb. 28, Baldwin posted her prediction for Muntinlupa on Facebook. 

“February 28:2025 #muntinlupa vision tatlong malaking sunog ang nakikita ko na mangyayari pa lamang .hindi ito kalayuan sa mang inasal at kung ito ay hindi agad agad maapula dahil sa sobrang laki madadamay ang lahat na nakapaligid dito .at ang isang sunog ay hindi ito kalayuan sa overpass .at ang isa pang sunog ay mangyari mismo sa lugar ng eskwater area .malaking apoy ito dahil nasabayan ito ng malakas na hangin,” Baldwin posted on Facebook. 

Some netizens believed in her prediction. 

“nag kakatotoo napo ung sinasabi nyo po sana nmn po ung iba wag napo sana mangyare my awa ang diyos satin. LORD kayo napo bahala smin sana palagi nyo po kming bantayan,” a netizen commented on Baldwin’s post. 

One wrote, “Nagkatotoo po yong sunog dito po sa muntilupa pero naagapan din agad thanks God dahil Hindi Malaki ang sunog at Wala Naman nasaktan,sa likod lng po ng bahay namin.”

“Nagkatotoo hula mo dalawang sunog ngayon sa muntinlupa,” another netizen commented.
