Quezon City LGU suspends face-to-face classes due to high heat index
The Quezon City government suspended face-to-face classes anew in Daycare, Kindergarten to Senior High School in all public schools on Tuesday, March 4, due to the high heat index forecast of the state weather bureau.

The announcement was made after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released a forecast of a dangerous heat index level of 40 degrees Celsius.
All affected classes will shift to asynchronous or blended learning.
For private schools, the decision to shift the learning modality is entrusted to the school administrators' discretion.
QCitizens are advised to stay indoors and hydrated to avoid the risk of heat-related illnesses.
