Pasay City has a new police chief

Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena led the turnover to Col. Joselito De Sesto of the top post of the Pasay City Police on Monday, March 3.

According to Abrugena, De Sesto replaced Col. Samuel Pabonita as Pasay City Police chief.

The turnover ceremony was held at the Mayor’s Office located at the 2^nd floor of Pasay City Hall before Councilor Mark Calixto who represented Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano.

Abrugena thanked Pabonita for his dedicated service and exemplary leadership.

The SPD chief also expressed his full confidence in De Sesto in carrying out the principles of trust, collaboration, and positive transformation in ensuring that the legacy of excellence in the police service continues.

Abrugenaalso emphasized the importance of continuity in serving the residents of Pasay City.
