Over P700,000 shabu seized in Valenzuela buy-bust

A total of P741,200 worth of shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Valenzuela City, the Northern Police District (NPD) announced on Tuesday, March 4.

Operatives from the NPD Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) identified the suspects as "Eric," 43, and "Totoy," 64, both classified as high-value individuals (HVI).

According to the police report, the NPD-DEU, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted the operation around 4:35 p.m. on Monday, March 3, inside a residence in Northville 2, Barangay Bignay.

Authorities confiscated 109 grams of shabu valued at P741,200 from the suspects.

The arrested individuals will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said. (Jhoana Mae Delfin)
