Low-cost carrier AirAsia is kicking off the summer season with its 4.4 seat sale, offering one-way base fares for as low as ₱44.

In an advisory, the airline said travelers can start booking their flights from Monday, March 31, to Sunday, April 6.

With over 400,000 seats up for grabs, the travel period for flights booked under this promotion will begin immediately on Monday and run until Sept. 30, 2025.

The airline said the sale covers a wide range of domestic destinations such as Kalibo, Iloilo, Bacolod, and Tagbilaran.

This also applies to international routes such as Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, and Seoul.

“At AirAsia, we believe that each journey begins with a purpose. Filipinos look forward to taking a quick break, especially during the summer months, either going on a beach trip, reconnecting with loved-ones or simply heading home for Holy Week. AirAsia’s 4.4 promo makes all these much-needed travels happen,” said AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head Steve Dailisan.

“Coupled with a lower fuel surcharge cost for the month of April, there’s no stopping from making that memorable trip, affordable and within reach,” he added.

The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) earlier reduced the airline passenger fuel surcharge in April to Level 4 from March’s Level 5.

With this lower level, airlines can collect an additional fuel fee of ₱117 to ₱342 for domestic flights, depending on the distance. Meanwhile, the surcharge for international flights ranges from ₱385.70 to ₱2,867.82.

AirAsia is bracing for a busy summer season this year as the carrier already notched over 500,000 bookings for the months of April and May.

Boracay, known for its white sand beaches, leads the list of top domestic summer destinations.

The airline said Cebu, Tagbilaran, Palawan, and Iloilo are also experiencing high demand, as travelers opt to visit the country’s renowned beach and nature destinations.

Internationally, Taipei and Narita rank among the most popular destinations.
