The Pasig City Operations Division, in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection-Pasig and Meralco, facilitated interactive drills and demonstrations, allowing students to experience real-life emergency scenarios firsthand.

As part of the training, students participated in activities that helped enhance their knowledge of fire safety, disaster preparedness, and basic rescue techniques.

Fire Safety Demonstration: Students learned how to use a water fire extinguisher to put out fires, emphasizing the importance of quick action during emergencies.

Zero Visibility Tunnel Experience: They crawled through a zero-visibility tunnel, simulating the challenges of navigating through smoke-filled environments during a fire emergency.

Participants also learned the do’s and don’ts of electrical safety, gaining awareness of potential hazards and ways to prevent them.

The children were also guided on how to use the items inside the Go Bag provided by the local government during emergencies like fires or earthquakes.

Additionally, they learned hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic bandaging techniques, practiced rappelling from heights like firefighters, and trained in tying lifesaving knots, which are considered practical skills for emergencies.
