A total of 102 couples officially tied the knot in holy matrimony during a mass wedding held at the Verdant Covered Court in Pamplona Tres, Las Piñas City on Friday, March 28.

Las Piñas Vice Mayor April Aguilar said the event was organized by the City Social Welfare and Development Office to provide longtime partners and common-law couples the opportunity to solemnize their union in a formal and dignified ceremony officiated by a local priest.

As part of the celebration, the city government also provided the newlyweds with cakes and wine.

Aguilar emphasized that the local government’s mass wedding program continues to serve as a valuable public service for residents who wish to legalize their union but may lack the financial means for a private ceremony.

She added that by making marriage more accessible, the city government promotes stronger families and fosters a more inclusive and supportive community.
