Entertainment journalist and talent manager Ogie Diaz has officially endorsed Bam Aquino, a former senator and independent candidate, for the upcoming May elections.
In his YouTube show, "Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update," Ogie disclosed that Bam is one of the three senatorial candidates he supports.
“Heto, hindi ako magbabanggit ng twelve. Basta yung ilan sa kanila, yung iba kasi understood na. Si Bam Aquino, si Kiko Pangilinan, si Heidi Mendoza ang dating COA commissioner. (I won't mention 12. Just some of them, because the others are already understood. Bam Aquino, Kiko Pangilinan, Heidi Mendoza, the former COA commissioner)," Ogie said.
“Iyan, matitino ‘yan, ako na nagsasabi sa inyo, matitino yang tatlo na ‘yan. (He's a nice person. I'm telling you, those three are nice people)," he added. Ogie also backed Bam's Senate bid in 2019.
Ogie's co-hosts, Mama Loi Villarama and Tita Jegs, agreed with his selections, confirming that they, too, will be voting for Bam Aquino, Kiko Pangilinan, and Heidi Mendoza.
Aside from Ogie, a long list of celebrities, influencers and musicians have also expressed support for Bam's senatorial run, including Dingdong Dantes, Edu Manzano, Janno Gibbs, Jolina Magdangal, Marjorie Barretto, Bea Binene, Rita Avila, Bea Saw, Niccolo Cosme, Arman Ferrer, Pia Magalona, Irene Villamor, Alex Medina, Inah Evans, AC Soriano, Alex Calleja, Chef Jeng Flores, and Bodjie Pascua.
