Road closure for UST Fun Run on March 30

Several roads in Manila will be closed or rerouted on March 30 due to the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Fun Run event, affecting traffic flow. 

From 3 a.m. onwards, the following roads will be closed:  

-Lerma Street (from España Blvd. to A. Mendoza)  

-Southbound lane of Quezon Bridge (from 4 a. m. to 7 a. m.)  

-Northbound lane of Binondo-Intramuros Bridge

-Magallanes Drive (from P. Burgos Ave. to Soriano Ave.)  

To ease congestion, the following re-routing plans are in place: 

-Vehicles from España Blvd. intending to use Lerma St. should turn left onto N. Reyes to their destination.  

-Vehicles from Quezon Blvd. Southbound intending to use Quezon Bridge Southbound should continue straight and turn left to Quiapo Ilalim.  

-Vehicles from Riverside Drive intending to use Binondo-Intramuros Bridge Northbound should go straight and turn left onto Soriano Ave.

Motorists were advised of the stop-and-go traffic on other nearby streets as participants pass. 

The opening and closing of affected roads will depend on the actual traffic situation.  

They are also advised to adjust their routes and allow extra travel time.
