QCPD ensures peace, security during campaign period


The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has deployed its personnel around the city to ensure peace, order, and public safety during the campaign period for the upcoming national and local elections.

QCPD chief Col. Melecio Buslig, Jr. said. said the city police force will strengthen its security measures to prevent election-related incidents, protect candidates, and maintain order throughout the election season.

“Sisiguraduhin ng QCPD ang seguridad at kaayusan sa buong lungsod ngayong nagsimula na ang lokal na kampanya para sa eleksyon 2025 (The QCPD will ensure security and order throughout the city now that the local campaign for the 2025 elections has begun),” Buslig, Jr. said. 

“Paiigtingin natin ang police visibility upang maiwasan ang anumang election-related incidents (We will enhance police visibility to prevent any election-related incidents),” Buslig added. 

The QCPD is also working closely with the Commission on Elections and other law enforcement agencies to implement election-related rules and regulations.

Among the security measures in place are police assistance desks, monitoring of campaign rallies, and quick response to reports of election-related violence or illegal activities.

The QCPD also urges the public to stay alert and report any suspicious activities.

“Ang ating mga kababayan ay may mahalagang papel sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan ngayong halalan. Makipagtulungan tayo upang masigurado ang isang maayos at ligtas na kampanya (Our fellow citizens play a crucial role in maintaining peace during this election. Let us work together to ensure an orderly and safe campaign),” the police chief said.
