Makati City mayoral candidate Luis Campos, husband of incumbent Mayor Abby Binay, vowed to continue her programs and initiatives in the city during the Team United proclamation rally at the corner of P. Ocampo Extension and Chino Roces Avenue on Saturday night, March 29.

“Nandidito po ako tumatayo para ipagpatuloy ang ‘better’ ni mayora. Sabi nga rin po ni mayora, ikakatuwa niya kung mahihigitan namin ni Kid ang nagawa nila ni Monique (I am standing here to continue the 'better' that Mayor Abby started. As she said, she would be happy if Kid and I could surpass what she and Monique have accomplished),” he said.
However, he added that "good enough" is not enough, emphasizing the need for improvement and making things even better for the city and its people.
Mayor and senatorial candidate Abby Binay was also at the event, where she showed her support and encouraged Makatizens to support her husband and Team United.
She promised that even if she moves to the Senate, she will not abandon Makati. She vowed to guide, oversee, and ensure that her husband is doing his job, as well as making sure that Team United continues to serve the people properly.
"Ang boto kay Luis Campos ay boto para kay Abby Binay (A vote for Luis Campos is a vote for Abby Binay),” she stated.
During the event, Binay also thanked Makatizens for the trust they have given her over the past nine years of serving Makati and for their support.
Team United consists of Campos, Binay, vice mayoral candidate Kid Peña, and Reps. Monique Lagdameo and Alden Almario.
