Loren campaigns for brother's reelection in Antique

ILOILO CITY – Sen. Loren Legarda has joined the campaign for the reelection of her brother Antique Rep. Antonio Agapito “AA” Legarda.

The lady senator graced the kickoff rally of her brother in Patnongon town on Friday, March 28.

“Sa bawat hakbang at proyekto, ipinakikita namin na ang serbisyo ng Legarda ay diretso sa tao at ang lahat ng ito ay para sa kapakanan ng bawat Antiqueño (With every step and project, we demonstrate that Legardas service is direct to the people and all of this is for the benefit of every Antiqueño),” said the senator.

“Ang bawat tagumpay ay hindi lang tagumpay ng isang pamilya, kundi tagumpay ng buong probinsya (Every success is not just a success of one family, but a success of the entire province),” Loren added.

Rep. Legarda is running against outgoing Gov. Rhodora “Dodod” Cadiao who used to be a political ally of the Legardas.

The Legardas did not grow up in Antique but one of their maternal grandparents reportedly hails from the town of Pandan.

During the rally, Loren enumerated the various socio-economic projects that she and her brother implemented for the province.
