Reeling from their string of defeats since last week, the Pegasus finally rediscovered their groove and dominated right away, staying ahead throughout and peaked in the fourth after building an 82-47 lead.

Belangel delivered his third straight double-digit scoring as he listed 17 points on top of his five rebounds and four assists in almost 26 minutes on the floor.

The former Ateneo ace provided support to Andrew Nicholson, who posted 23 points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal. Youssopha Ndoye and Kim Jun-Yi added 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Daegu maintained its place at fifth as it holds an even 25-25 slate. Busan, on the other hand, fell to 17-32 slate at eighth.

Meanwhile, Carl Tamayo and the Changwon LG Sakers ran out of gas late and ultimately yielded to the front-running Seoul SK Knights, 79-78, in the face-off of two former University of the Philippines stars.

Tamayo had a quiet nine points and eight rebounds for the Sakers who settled to a 31-19 slate at second while his fellow Maroon Juan Gomez de Liano chipped in seven points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal for Seoul.

The Knights notched their 40th win against 10 losses.
