During an event, guests were happy to see each other and exchange pleasantries. Attendees came from showbiz and other groups. The gathering was truly full of celebrities dressed in their best.

As the hosts welcomed each guest, the power couple arrived. Always well-dressed, Female Partner (FP) looked gorgeous. She made heads turn. Her Boyfriend (HB) looked dashing. When FP and HB were hobnobbing with the other impressive guests, A Relative (AR) of the hosts came over to welcome FP and HB.  

Over the years, HB has built a reputation as a businessman and a showbiz influencer as well. He has made connections and earned the respect of colleagues in and out of the entertainment industry. Thus, his presence always attracts people who pay him respect. Similarly, FP also has a good reputation and has never been known to have enemies. It seems that the two are the perfect couple.

Together with AR who welcomed HB and FP was AR’s Beautiful Woman (BW). BW was looking radiant that time. When BW acknowledged the couple, FP made a bold move. Allegedly, she pulled HB closer to her in a seeming move to avoid prolonging his interaction with BW. 

Perhaps, FP thought she had to make sure HB’s eyes should only be on her. Protect her man. BW was, after all, younger and very attractive. These days, showbiz relationships could change in a snap and FP would not want HB to go astray.

Enough is enough

The colleagues of Backbiter Personality (BP) have had enough. Years ago, BP and her colleagues were like family. They grew up together sharing their personal and professional lives. Expectations were set as their careers and following expanded as time passed. BP, who could be considered as younger than most of the members of the team, showed much promise.

As each member carved his/her own path, they supported each other. BP was also given support. Of course, each also expected for BP to respond with the basic respect accorded to someone who moves in the same close circle. However, that was not the case. The rest of their family realized BP was a class in herself. They realized BP was kind at face value but was cruel once one has turned his/her back. Her attitude was worse than what they had thought and they decided to give BP the silent treatment even in public events.

Incidentally, BP fell head over heels with Handsome Actor (HA) to the point that she allegedly did not bother to correct the rumor that they hooked up. When HA felt BP might be fatally attracted to him, he avoided her. HA had to deny the rumor to protect his reputation.
