The latest Publicus Asia senatorial survey “PAHAYAG 2025 First Quarter Survey” showed a giant leap in Aquino’s ranking—from 12th place last year to a tie for 3rd to 4th spots with former senator Panfilo Lacson at 33 percent in the 2025 first quarter poll.

The poll was conducted from March 15 to 20, with 1,500 respondents.

Aquino has received strong endorsements from former vice president Leni Robredo, former senate president Franklin Drilon, and Senator Risa Hontiveros, as well as from various celebrities and influencers, such as Anne Curtis, Dingdong Dantes, Bea Binene, Janine Gutierrez, and veteran actor Edu Manzano.

“Higit pa sa husay, si Senator Bam ay masasandalan sa pinakamalalaking laban. Alam na alam ko ito dahil siya ang aking naging campaign manager noong ako ay lumaban para sa vice presidency noong 2016, at siya ulit ang aking piniling campaign manager noong ako’y napalaban noong 2022 (Aside from being excellent, Senator Bam is a dependable ally in the biggest battle. I know this because he was my campaign manager when I ran for the vice presidency in 2016, and again in 2022),” Robredo said during the campaign kick-off rally of Aquino and Pangilinan in Dasmarinas, Cavite last month.

The Publicus Asia survey also showed Pangilinan at 5th place with 32 percent. Senator Bong Go has the top spot at 45 percent, followed by Senator Ronald Dela Rosa at 35 percent.

Rounding up the Magic 12 are Rep. Erwin Tulfo tied with former senate president Vicente “Tito” Sotto in sixth and seventh place at 29 percent, followed by Senators Pia Cayetano at 27 percent and Francis “Tol” Tolentino at 23 percent.

Independent candidate Ben Tulfo saw a decline landing at 10th place with 22 percent, while former senator Manny Pacquiao and Rep. Rodante Marcoleta tied for the 11th and 12th spots, each securing 21 percent.
