The administration-backed Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas has updated its social media to reflect the exit of reelectionist Senator Imee Marcos from its senatorial ticket.

Over on Facebook, Alyansa uploaded on late Saturday afternoon, March 29 a new cover photo that featured the remaining candidates of the once 12-member slate.

"ALL THE WAY! 🇵🇭 Narito na ang Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidates! 📢 Kilalanin ang 11 candidates mula sa iba’t-ibang larangan, may kanya-kanyang expertise, may kanya-kanyang lakas pero iisang hangarin—magsilbi sa bayan. 🤝," read the caption of the cover photo.

(All the way! Here are the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidates! Get to know the 11 candidates from different fields, who have their own expertise, who have their own strengths but have have one goal--to serve the nation.)

Senator Marcos, sisiter of Alansya's main endorser, President Marcos, announced a few days ago that she could no longer join the administration slate's campaign as a matter of principle.

The lady senator recently launched a Senate inquiry on government's alleged "surrendering" of former president Rodrigo Duterte to the International Criminal Court (ICC) last Marc 11 on a charge of crimes against humanity.

The investigation is viewed as critical of the Marcos administration.
