He  rallied his fellow Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) candidates nationwide to bring their message of service and performance to every Filipino community, saying their shared mission goes beyond political victory.

Anna Capella Velasco, Lakas-CMD Executive Director, said 6,118 candidates are running under their party in the midterm elections.

Capella said they include senatorial bets Sen. Ramon “Bong”’ Revilla Jr. and House Deputy Majority Leader Erwin Tulfo, 21 candidates for governor, 129 for representative, 29 for vice governor, 37 city mayors, 39 city vice mayors, 432 city councilors, 572 municipal mayors, 518 municipal vice mayors, 4,089 municipal councilors, and 250 board members.

Velasco said that 27 of their congressional candidates are running unopposed  which the Lakas-CMD described as a strong vote of confidence in their performance and connection to the people.

Romualdez vowed to continue to serve with the same dedication he has shown in years of public service.

He offered a prayer for strength, unity, and fairness throughout the campaign period.

Romualdez reminded his allies that their greatest strength is their shared dedication to the people.
