Mar Roxas joins One-Capiz kick-off campaign

ILOILO CITY – Former Senator and Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas joined the kick-off campaign of the One Capiz alliance on Friday.

Roxas showed his support to candidates of One Capiz, a merger between Liberal Party (LP) and Lakas-CMD, particularly his son Paolo, congressional candidate in the first district of Capiz.

This congressional seat has been held by various family members, including Roxas’ great grandfather, former President Manuel Roxas. His father, Gerry, and brother Dinggoy, were also congressmen.

The One Capiz coalition includes reelectionists Gov. Fredenil “Oto” Castro and Vice Gov. James “Mitang” Magbanua and Mayor Ronnie Dadivas and Vice Mayor Teresa “Inday” Almalbis of Roxas City, the provincial capital.

Candidates of One Capiz coalition in the towns of Cuartero, Dao, Dumalag, Ivisan, Jamindan, Maayon, Mambusao, Panay, Panitan, Pilar, Sapian, Sigma, and Tapaz also launched their campaigns.
