In a gathering at the Mini Forest Provincial Capitol compound on Thursday, March 27, a group of students expressed concern over the negative kind of campaigning that they are seeing on social media.

They claimed that instead of proper discussions on the candidates' platforms, they often encounter defamation and false accusations from the supporters of politicians.

"Sana po tuparin ng bawa't kandidato ang kanilang pangako na gagawin nilang mapayapa ang Halalan 2025. At sana din po, maging mahinahon ang bawa't tagasuporta ng mga kandidato, at hindi maging dahilan sa anumang gulo," (We are hoping that every candidate will keep their promise that they will make the 2025 election peaceful. We also urge their supporters to be calm and not to cause any trouble)," they said.

The Bulacan Provincial Police Office, the Commission on Elections, Philippine Army, Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), teachers, and students had earlier held a Unity Walk, interfaith prayer rally, and peace covenant signing at the historic Barasoain Church to promote safe and honest elections.
