Rep. Paolo Duterte appeals for prayers for FPRRD's health

DAVAO CITY – Rep. Paolo Z. Duterte here appealed to the people on Thursday, March 27, for continued prayers for the health of his father, former President Rodrigo Duterte.

In a recorded video message released by his office, Rep. Duterte thanked the people for their unwavering support for the former Chief Executive and the rest of his family.

“We sincerely appreciate all your support for our father, President Duterte. As we all know, he is facing health challenges due to his age. We ask you to continue to pray for his well-being,” Rep. Duterte said.

“Maraming salamat po at tuloy ang laban (Thank you very much, and the fight continues)!” Rep. Duterte concluded.

The Duterte family has not disclosed specific details about his current health condition while in detention at The Hague in the Netherlands but emphasized the importance of prayers and well wishes from the public.

Duterte supporters echoed prayers and messages of support for the former President on social media.
