A murder case has been filed against the police officer who allegedly shot to death a driver in a road rage incident in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, on March 20.
Criminal Investigation Unit (CIDU) Chief Maj. Don Don Llapitan identified the suspect as PEMS Randy Enano Tuzon, 48, a resident of Barangay Kaligayahan, Quezon City.
The suspect has been charged with murder; frustrated murder; and violation of R.A. 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and B.P. 881 or Omnibus Election Code pursuant to COMELEC Resolution No. 11067 on March 22.
The victims were identified as Ronnie Casero Borromeo, 42, and Reynaldo Hagos, 51.
Based on the forensic examination, Borromeo sustained multiple gunshot wounds in various parts of his body, while Hagos suffered injuries on his left hip and thigh.
Authorities recovered seven spent bullet shells and one fired bullet at the crime scene.
