The CHi App is designed to bridge accessibility gaps as it will help seamlessly connect patients to Chong Hua Hospital Cebu, Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue, and the Chong Hua Medical Mall.
"Healthcare should not be confined within hospital walls – it should be accessible whenever and wherever it’s needed. The CHi App is a testament to our commitment to innovation, ensuring that quality care reaches our communities faster and more efficiently," Dr. Helen S. Po, president and chief executive officer of Chong Hua Hospital, said during the launching on Wednesday, March 26, at Chong Hua Mandaue.
Hospital officials noted that in many areas across Visayas and Mindanao, access to timely and quality healthcare remains a challenge.
They cited a study showing that 40 percent of patients experience delays in receiving medical attention due to distance and a lack of facilities.
At the same time, the demand for digital healthcare solutions has surged, with telehealth consultations increasing by over 300 percent post-pandemic.
Recognizing these challenges, Chong Hua Hospital is leading the charge in digital transformation with the CHi App – ensuring patients receive the care they need, when, and where they need it.
By using the app, users can pre-register for hospital admission, request prescriptions and receive real-time updates, instantly view test results and medical records, and find doctors and services in seconds.
The CHi App is officially available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
