Alan was one of Central Luzon’s most wanted fugitives and had a P10-million bounty for his arrest.

The PRO-3 arrested the suspect in a joint operation with the Royal Malaysia Police on Saturday afternoon, March 22, at the Cobra Rugby Club in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

The gunman, Edgardo Luib, who was arrested and convicted, confessed that Alan orchestrated the killing.

Alan’s accomplice, Edrian T. Rementilla, who acted as the middleman, was also arrested in Iligan City on March 22 in a joint operation by PRO-3 and 10.

PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo said authorities successfully tracked and captured Alan following intensive intelligence and surveillance operations.

Efforts are underway for Alan’s immediate repatriation to the Philippines to face legal proceedings.

“This operation highlights the power of international cooperation in bringing fugitives to justice. It sends a strong message that no one can escape accountability, no matter where they flee,” Fajardo said.

Fajardo urged the public to remain vigilant and report any information on wanted persons through its hotline or official social media pages.
