A Unity Walk, candidates' orientation and briefing, and the signing of a Peace Covenant were held in Parañaque City to ensure the conduct of honest, orderly, and peaceful National and Local Elections (NLE) in May.
The symbolic Unity Walk was participated in by candidates for Mayor, Vice Mayor, Congressman and Councilors and was led by Commission on Election (Comelec) officers from Districts I and II and the local police.
The orientation and briefing and the Peace Covenant signing were held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex to demonstrate unity and the commitment of all candidates towards fair and safe election.
Rep. Edwin Olivarez, who is running for city mayor, and current city mayor Eric Olivarez, who will be running for congressman, led the election-related activities.
