‘Ningning sa Silangan’

As the final production of its 46th season, continuing Dr. Ricky Abad’s legacy, Tanghalang Ateneo proudly presents “Ningning sa Silangan.” Directed by Charles Yee, the play is a Filipino translation of Jo Clifford’s “Light in the Village,” a parable of hope amid poverty and greed in a small village.

‘Mga Anak ng Unos’
📅 When: March 28 to 30, April 4 to 6, and April 11 to 13, at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
📍 Where: IBG-KAL Theater, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City
Dulaang UP’s Mga Anak ng Unos is a twin-bill production tackling urgent issues surrounding the climate crisis. Both plays—“Sa Gitna ng Digmaan ng mga Mahihiwagang Nilalang Laban sa Sangkatauhan” and “Climate in Crazies”—highlight the pressing ecological emergencies the world faces today.
