SecureLink Networks, a joint venture between homegrown telecommunications provider PT&T Corp. and Australian tech firm Netlinkz Ltd., has officially launched Virtual Secured Network Plus (VSN+), with the aim of redefining cybersecurity in the Philippines.
VSN+ is described as a cybersecurity solution that is poised to boost security and network resilience for businesses across the country.
In his speech during a media launch on Tuesday, March 25, PT&T President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) James Velasquez said VSN+ is the company’s “bold response” to the growing threats in today’s evolving digital landscape.
“With Australia’s cutting-edge tech and PT&T’s local expertise, we’re providing secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions for businesses and the government,” said Velasquez, also the CEO and co-founder of SecureLink Networks.
Developed by Netlinkz, VSN+ uses zero-trust architecture and software-defined networking to create a secure, private, and scalable digital environment.
Unlike traditional virtual private networks (VPN), the newly launched tool builds virtual encrypted tunnels over public internet connections that would enable businesses to securely connect users, devices, and applications from any location.
With a software-only deployment, VSN+ is suitable for businesses of all sizes, including those with remote or hybrid work setup.
SecureLink Networks Chairman and Co-Founder James Tsiolis, who is also the CEO and managing director of Netlinkz, said VSN+ stands out from other cybersecurity solutions due to its military-grade encryption.
Tsiolis told reporters that the product offers high levels of security, even becoming a previous winner of the United States (US) Defense Department’s Global Security Challenge.
“The encryption levels that we used are at military level, so we encrypt everything, everything is invisible. So, that is what various law enforcement agencies use. In addition to that, we also do a lot of lawful interception,” he explained.
SecureLink Networks is targeting businesses across all industries and government agencies with its VSN+ offering, as part of its commitment to empower a more connected digital future.
The product’s launch in the Philippines is expected to be only the beginning, with expansion plans already in the pipeline.
“This is just the beginning. VSN+ is our way of safeguarding digital infrastructure across Southeast Asia. With PT&T as our partner, we aim to transform how cybersecurity is delivered in the region,” said Tsiolis.
Apart from this, SecureLink Networks also provides fiber, 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), and satellite broadband that ensures low-latency, high-speed internet access.
It also offers cloud services, cybersecurity monitoring, and managed IT infrastructure, allowing businesses to scale without security risks.
