CAVITE – Authorities apprehended six high-value individuals and seized P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Molino 4, Bacoor City, early morning on Wednesday, March 26.
Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the suspects as alias Boy, alias Joedel, alias Matt, alias Reymart, alias Johnpaul, and alias Jerwin.
Confiscated during the joint operation of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the Bacoor Component City Police Station (CCPS) were four pieces of knot-tied transparent ice bags and two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 500 grams of white crystalline substance.
Also seized were a 1911 caliber .45 handgun, an improvised Thompson caliber .45 gun, a caliber .22 gun, and several magazines and ammunition.

The suspects are now under the custody of Bacoor CCPS and are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act in relation to the Omnibus Election Code.
The Cavite PPO said the seizure of such a substantial amount of illegal drugs is a major blow to the local drug trade and is expected to significantly enhance public safety in the community.
“I commend the unwavering efforts of our operatives to combat illegal drugs in the province. We will intensify our campaign against illegal drugs to ensure that those involved face the charges filed against them in court,” Cavite PPO Acting Provincial Director Col. Dwight E. Alegre said in a statement.
