The fan meeting of embattled Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun scheduled in Taiwan has been canceled as the issue involving the late actress Kim Sae-ron continued for nearly two weeks.
7-Eleven Taiwan announced on March 26 the cancellation of Kim Soo-hyun’s exclusive fan meeting originally scheduled to be held on March 30.
It said due to schedule adjustment, Kim Soo-hyun will be unable to attend the event.
People who bought tickets to the event will be fully refunded.

Korean media reported that according to Taiwanese media, Kim Soo-hyun’s side may have to pay 30 million Taiwan dollars (about $907,000) in cancellation fee for not attending the event.
The issue involving Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron started on March 10 and has been going on for nearly two weeks.
It was started by YouTube channel HoverLab (Garosero Research Institute) on March 10. It presented photos and letters, saying that Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor.
Gold Medalist, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, denied the charges but admitted that Kim Soo-hyun dated the actress when she became an adult. .
Kim Soo-hyun has lost about 991,000 followers on Instagram due to the incident.
Kim Sae-ron was found dead on Feb. 16, Kim Soo-hyun's birthday.
