PDEA: Cop, 3 others arrested in P136-M shabu bust in Baguio City

Government anti-narcotics authorities seized on Tuesday, March 25, around P136 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a police officer and three others during a buy-bust operation in Baguio City.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said that the four suspects were nabbed at around 11 a.m. at South China Sea Green Valley Subdivision in Barangay Dontogan.

The PDEA did not disclose the names of the arrested suspects.

Aside from the more or less 20 kilos of shabu concealed in 20 heat-sealed transparent plastic packs, the agents also confiscated cellular phones, buy-bust money, a firearm, a vehicle and identification cards during the operation.

The suspects face charges of violating Sections 5 (Sale of Illegal Drugs) and 11 (Possession of Illegal Drugs), Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165.
