The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) recorded around four million passengers in the first two months of 2025 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
And MIAA General Manager Eric Ines said they expect the number to rise due to the expected travel of Filipinos for the Holy Week next month.
"We are expecting to top the 50.1 million records for the whole year of 2024," said Ines, adding that they expect 20 percent to 30 percent increase in passenger arrival and departure for this year.
Ines said they are also expecting heavy passenger movement as more foreign airlines are eyeing to operate at the NAIA.
