Kenneth "Lover Boy" Llover snared the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) bantamweight belt in emphatic fashion after scoring a first-round knockout win against hometown bet Keita Kurihara at Korakuen Hall Monday, March 24.

The 22-year-old Llover put on a show right away, unleashing lethal blows that dropped his Japanese foe down the canvas twice then followed it up with a 1-2 combo which was enough to convince the referee to stop the fight.
With his victory, Llover remained undefeated in 14 matches with nine ending in knockouts. Kurihara, meanwhile, absorbed his ninth loss against 19 victories and one draw.
It can be remembered that the pride of Gen. Trias, Cavite made his international debut at Sumiyoshi SportsCenter in Osaka last December.
There, Llover made quick work of Japanese Tulio Dekanarudo (8-3-2) via TKO.
