Heart Evangelista and Pia Wurtzbach shine as top performers at Milan Fashion Week

These Filipino style icons dominated Milan Fashion Week fall-winter 2025

The international fashion festivities may be over, but we’re still on a high from the chic moments Filipino attendees served during the event. Among those who truly stood out were Filipino fashion icons Heart Evangelista and Pia Wurtzbach. During the Fall-Winter 2025 season of Milan Fashion Week (MFW), the two were recognized as top performers by software company Launchmetrics.

Launchmetrics calculates industry players’ Media Impact Value (MIV), which “allows brands to assign a monetary value to each post, interaction, and article.” In its recent report, Heart ranked third on its list of Top Voices at MFW, with an MIV of $8.7 million, following Vogue and Gucci, which claimed the first and second spots, respectively. Pia, on the other hand, ranked fifth with an MIV of $6.7 million.

Heart also topped the Top Celebrities by Total MIV at MFW list, with Pia securing the second spot. Completing the list were Aespa’s Karina, South Korean actor Byeon Woo-seok, and Thai star Kanawut Traipipattanapong.

The report also highlighted the significant influence of Asian celebrities at MFW, noting that they contributed 84 percent of the total celebrity MIV this season, with 60 percent of that impact attributed to the Top 10 Asia-Pacific stars.

“Beyond South Korean celebrities—who accounted for a third of global celebrity MIV—the Philippines also emerged as a key player in celebrity-driven impact,” Launchmetrics stated. “Interestingly, despite ranking second, the country’s influence was largely driven by just two voices: Heart Evangelista, with $8.7 million MIV, and Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, with $6.7 million MIV.”
