San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced the suspension of work and classes in all levels in San Juan City on Thursday, March 27, in celebration of "Araw ng San Juan."

The mayor said the declaration was pursuant to R.A. 7669, which commemorates the anniversary and formation of San Juan as an independent municipality by Virtue of Philippine Commission Act No. 1625.

The suspension covers all government and private offices, as well as all private and public schools in the city. (Vincent Brian Gutierrez)
